Alternatively, you must complete application form D1 available from the Post Office, enclose the appropriate fee and also enclose original documentation confirming your identity, a passport-type size colour photograph taken against a plain light background.
Send your completed application etc to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1AD or you may be able to use the Post office checking service.

You should be able to read an old style number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres.

You should be able to read a new style number plate from a distance of 20 metres.
