Motorway courses for the new driver to gain experience or anyone wishing to gain confidence to drive on motorways. Lessons would normally be for a minimum of 2 hours, and would consist of the following elements:

• Planning journeys in advance.

• Joining and leaving motorways.

• Speed awareness.

• Planning well ahead.

• Effective all round observation.

• Signs, signals and markings.

• Lane discipline.

• Overtaking.

• Using the four c's (care, courtesy, consideration and co operation).

• Dealing with fatigue.

• Breakdown procedures.

• Dealing with Hazards.

• Dealing with Roadworks

• Link Roads and Slip roads.
